What we do to keep pupils safe
- First day caling procedures - we will follow up on any pupil not in school to find out where they are
- We are part of Operation Encompass - see the other tab
- All staff and helpers are DBS checked
- All staff & governors have done Safeguarding training within the last 3 years
- Staff have regular safeguarding updates
- Staff have completed PREVENT training
- School has two DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads) who have completed training and attend regular update briefings
- Provide safeguarding assemblies & lessons for pupils
- Work with the communty hub and outside agencies to support families
- Monitor any bullying & discrimination
- Have a safeguarding governor who works with and monitors what we do
