Hepworth J & I School

In Class 3 we have two teachers – Mrs Hinchliffe (Mon, Tues and Wed) and Mrs Simpson (Thurs, Fri.) We also have Mrs Robery and Mrs Brackenbury who help us at different times of the week. 

Class 3 is a lovely, airy classroom with fantastic views of our beautiful surroundings and quick and easy access to our outdoor learning environment.  In Class 3 the children enjoy learning through fun, exciting topics and activities.  This year, we are covering topics with questions and headings such as; What was it like to live 500 years ago?  Who or what was the Iron Man? The Vikings are Coming!

All our topics are cross-curricular and we aim to excite and develop children's natural curiosity in their learning!

In addition, as Class 3 is the start of Key Stage 2, we aim to help the children become independent and resilient in their learning.  We also encourage the children to share the responsibility of looking after our lovely classroom and teamwork is very important to us.
